Delivery
What arrives, what it looks like from the outside, and who has to be there to take it.
What the package will look like
Plain. No pharmacy branding, no clinical detail, nothing on the outside that indicates what is inside or where it came from. That is the default rather than something you have to request.
The name on the building helps here too: Kind Pharmacy says nothing about what we do, so it says nothing about you — on a package, a card statement, or a text message.
If the addressee name itself is the problem — because of who you live with — say so before the first delivery. There are usually options, and they are much easier to arrange in advance than to unwind afterwards.
How it will work
Delivery across the area around 231 Dundas St E is what we are building toward, and the intention is that it costs nothing for prescriptions.
We are not going to publish a delivery radius, a schedule or a fee here yet, because we do not have a courier arrangement finalised and a promise we cannot keep is worse than no promise. Those details will be on this page before we open rather than after.
Things worth telling us up front
A buzzer that does not work. A building where packages disappear. A time of day when someone else is home. A safe place to leave it. Whether you would rather it were not left at all.
None of that is fussy. It is the difference between delivery working and delivery being the reason someone stops filling a prescription.
Common questions
Does someone have to sign?
For most items, no. Some categories require a signature by law, and where that applies we will tell you before it is sent rather than have a courier turn up expecting one.
Can it go somewhere other than home?
A workplace, a friend’s address, or collection here are all normal. If home is not the safe option, it does not have to be the address.
What about things that need refrigeration?
Those need handling that keeps them cold the whole way, which constrains how and when they can go out. We will tell you what is possible for the specific item rather than generalise here.
Can I get delivery now?
No. Kind Pharmacy is not accredited and is not open, so nothing can be dispensed or delivered yet.
